Sister of Strength is the women’s auxiliary ministry at VVBC.

We offer encouragement and support for our women, our church and our community through various activities, prayer and projects.

Being a Woman of God is not for the weak of heart….We are Sisters of Strength!

J.O.Y. Group

11am Second Tuesday monthly

Our mission is to provide fun and Christian fellowship for our senior adults through monthly activities and programs, travel opportunities and serving others in the community.

Sister Bees

6pm Third Tuesday monthly

Does daily life have you stressed out? No worries! Sister Bees are here to help! This time of fellowship is open to all ladies so we can get to know each other better. It's a time to enjoy a meal, chit chat, have a devotional, play games, work on mission projects and have FUN! Bring a friend and mark your calendars for the 3rd Tuesday of each month!

Prayer Shawls

10am Second Thursday monthly

Whether they are called Prayer Shawls, Comfort Shawls, or Peace Shawls, the shawl maker begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way. Some recipients have continued the kindness by making a shawl and passing it onto someone in need. Therefore, the blessing ripples from person-to-person, with both the giver and receiver feeling the unconditional embrace of God!
